Who I am
“To be able to assist people in re-connecting with their natural state of ease, lightness and freedom of expression via The Trager® Approach has opened the door to tremendous joy and growth in my own life.”
I became certified in The Trager Approach® in 1985, and became a Trager Tutor in 1991. It was my great fortune to have taken training with Dr. Trager a few times in my early years, and then several trainings over the years with many of our distinguished Trager Instructors. I attended the New Mexico Academy of Advanced Healing Arts in 1991, where I received massage certification, and studied other modalities. Between 1987 and 1993 I performed The Trager Approach in a chiropractic clinic and an orthopedic clinic, and from 1993 to 2021 I worked at Integrative Therapies pain clinic. I also maintained a private practice in Greensboro, North Carolina from 1987 untill 2021.
For many years I offered lunch and learn presentations to offices regarding ergonomics in the workplace. I called those classes “Feel and Look Great Despite Your Computer”. In 2015 I published my little educational book called, “A Fresh Take on Ergonimics, Avoiding pain in the workplace”. I have helped many office workers with neck and/or backpain, however it is beneficial information for anyone. It is available online.
In 2021 I moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since then I have been semi-retired, and ocassionally work out of my new home office.
Over the years I have accrued hundreds of hours of continuing education and training in a variety of holistic modalities. I am a licensed Michigan Massage and Bodywork Therapist, License #7501014783
